Hi, everyone. Today we open our hearts to share the story of Ricardo, a 34-year-old man who never imagined how quickly his life could change.

One ordinary morning, Ricardo left home to work like any other day. A serious accident changed his story forever.

He suffered a high-voltage electrical shock that caused burns to approximately 60% of his body. He went through several surgeries, lost part of his fingers, and still lives every day with the pain and the limitations left behind by that accident.

Just when Ricardo believed the hardest chapter was behind him, another devastating diagnosis reached his family.

Doctors discovered cancer and told him he urgently needs surgery. The window for this procedure is extremely short, and his family cannot afford the cost on their own.

Since then, Ricardo and his wife have searched for help in every possible way. Waiting times in the public system are longer than his condition allows. Meanwhile, expenses with consultations, exams, medication, and everything the treatment requires continue to grow.

The surgery costs approximately $65,000.

Thanks to the kindness of many compassionate people, part of this amount has already been raised. But a large portion is still missing so that the surgery can happen in time.
